Welcome
A project to support physical and mental well-being through gardening and spending time in nature.
Glyn’s garden is a 2.5-acre site which was an overgrown, derelict site that has been regenerated in to peaceful, natural environment.
There is an easy access path; a bird hid; wildflower meadows and various other habitats that visitors can explore and enjoy.
It offers the opportunity to slow down and have social time or take gentle exercise away from the maddening crowd.
The disabled access compost toilet takes the anxiety out of any visit.
Supported Gardening Groups
The large vegetable patch, polytunnel and fruit cage offer a great opportunity for a wide variety of groups to come and enjoy supported gardening sessions.
Gardening and spending time in nature are proven to be helpful to everyone, particularly those recovering from mental health issues, those with learning disabilities or people who are socially isolated.
Weekend sessions will enable members of the public to come and enjoy the scene; purchase chemical free produce and plants grown on site and visit the various habitats and learn about their importance.
